Platform Engineer

The control plane schedules, budgets, and traces millions of workflow steps. You'll work on the scheduler, the run-state machine, and the primitives that make non-deterministic workloads safe to operate.

This is deep backend work with a strong reliability culture. Postmortems without blame, boring technology in the critical path.

• Design and operate the run scheduler and state machine
• Build enforcement for budgets, timeouts, and blast-radius declarations
• Own reliability targets for the execution path
• Participate in a humane on-call rotation

• Strong distributed-systems fundamentals
• Production experience with Postgres and queue-based architectures
• Fluency in Go, Rust, or a comparable systems language
• Instinct for making failure modes explicit
